For decades, the main Korean Association in Catalonia (haninbcn.com) has stood as the vital pillar for the Korean diaspora in Spain—providing guidance, representation, and community support. However, as a new generation of Korean students, working holiday makers, and young professionals arrived in Barcelona, a digital gap emerged.
While the parent association built the foundation, the youth community remained digitally scattered across temporary group chats and fragmented forums. The goal was not to replace this rich legacy, but to extend it into a modern, accessible digital era.

The AJCC emblem inherently represents unity—combining the Korean Taegeuk with the Catalan Senyera. We translated this symbolic bridge into a cohesive digital identity.
By pairing modern typography with a warm, welcoming palette, we transformed an institutional presence into an inviting home for young Koreans. The design balances official trust with youthful vitality, making community guidelines and cultural heritage feel accessible rather than formal.
